Refund Policy

Please read this before subscribing to a paid (Pro) plan. The free plan lets you evaluate ichibase at no cost — we encourage you to use it first.
No refunds for unused time
Paid plans are billed monthly and are non-refundable, including for partial or unused time. When you subscribe to Pro, we immediately provision a dedicated server for your project — a real cost we incur on your behalf from the moment you pay — so we can’t refund a month already started.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops all future renewals; your project keeps running until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then moves off the paid plan. You won’t be charged again.
Exceptions — when we do refund
We will issue a refund where:
- we were unable to provision your server (we couldn’t deliver the service);
- you were charged in error, twice, or fraudulently; or
- a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.
Beyond these, refunds are at our sole discretion.
EU/UK consumers
Paid plans give you immediate access to the service. By subscribing you consent to that immediate performance and acknowledge that, once the service has begun, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services no longer applies.
Payments & how refunds are processed
Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record, which also handles tax, disputes, and chargebacks. Any refund — including those required by law or arising from a card dispute — is processed through that provider and is subject to its policies, regardless of the rules above.
